Vita
Luke Richardson is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy teaching courses in taxation of individuals and business entities. He is a past recipient of the Advisory Council's Outstanding Teaching Award and serves as the faculty adviser for the accounting internship course.
Richardson, a licensed CPA in Florida, worked with Deloitte prior to taking his position at the university. He also serves as a business consultant with the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Richardson has been featured as a tax expert in several media outlets, including FOX 13 WTVT, ABC Action News WFTS, NBC News Channel 8 WFLA, CBS Channel 10 WTSP, Spectrum News Bay News 9, WalletHub and The Penny Hoarder.
Richardson completed bachelor's and graduate degrees in accountancy at the University of South Florida and a juris doctorate at the Stetson University College of Law.
