Given the increased level of competition business students face in today’s job market, there is no better time for job-seekers to strengthen their resumes. On September 8th, the Bellini Center for Talent Development will partner with Tampa Bay area employers to provide personalized resume feedback, guidance and insight into the interview process for USF Muma College of Business students.
Tampa Bay and national recruiters provide résumé reviews on walk-in basis to over 100 business students in a relaxed setting of the Bellini Center for Talent Development. In addition to a first impression feedback, recruiters identify the key strengths and areas of improvement to ensure students’ resumes are competitive and ready for the major job fairs and job applications. Students sign in and wait their turn to have their résumé critiqued and are also encouraged to ask questions about the newest trends in résumé writing, interviewing, and job search.
Not only is this event fun for the students involved, but the résumé reviewers, many of whom are also USF alumni, admit how good it feels to give back to the university community.
