Amy Corbin earned an MA in Gerontology in 2018 and began teaching with the Aging Studies
department here at USF. She went on to attain a Master of Social Work degree in 2021
and is currently working towards clinical licensure. Amy has past vocational experience
in adolescent group homes and with the Department of Children and Families. Aside
from teaching, she is also working as a therapist in an inpatient mental health facility.
She has integrated her interests and knowledge in both fields by helping to develop
a geriatric treatment program at Tampa Community Hospital. Amy has recently moved
from her position as an adjunct instructor to become a part of the full-time faculty.
