Ellie has a Master’s degree in Special Education from Duquesne University and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has spent the last 20 plus years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and most of her work is with those impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Before joining the CARD in January 2007, Ellie’s experiences have been providing respite and therapeutic support in homes, care and counseling in residential settings, instruction and behavioral intervention as an educator and coordinating educational services at the supervisory level. 

As the CARD Assistant Director of Education Services, she teams with school district representatives - supervises consultants - develops and provides training, technical assistance, and direct assistance for families, school personnel and various community agencies.
