USF BSN Program Added As Approved Training Program Benefiting Low Income And Dislocated Adults

The USF College of Nursing's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has been added to CareerSource Tampa Bay's list of Approved Training Programs. This makes the college's Upper Division and V-CARE programs eligible to have program costs covered by their Adult & Dislocated Worker program through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). 

The WIOA program can include assistance with program costs, books, materials, uniforms, and supplies. Upon completion of an approved training program, CareerSource Tampa Bay will help match your skills with jobs that are currently in demand.

Eligibilty requirements for the program are:

  • Hillsborough County resident
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Meet U.S. citizenship or work authorization requirements
  • Meet selective service registration requirements (males born after 12/31/59)
  • Meet Income eligibility requirements

To start the application process, interested parties must attend an WIOA Info Session.
