As part of our response to the Coronavirus, the USF Counseling Center has temporarily suspended couples counseling. If you are interested in initiating counseling services, you are encouraged to explore the secure telemental health services, included in the hyperlink above. If you are interested in couples counseling, we welcome you to reach out once USF classes resume on campus.
We look forward to serving you.
Couples or relationship counseling can improve your relationships with a partner, spouse, friend, or roommate. We can help you as a couple to explore your concerns and goals, as well as improve communication and skills for resolving conflict. Other areas addressed in counseling can include: making decisions about the relationship, strengthening emotional connection and problem solving skills, learning to meet each other's needs, and gaining new perspectives to enhance the relationship.
Both members of the couple must be registered USF students in order to receive services. Each person in the couple will first be seen individually for an initial appointment to determine if couples counseling will be helpful in reaching your goals.
