Orientation is your opportunity to experience what it's like to be a USF student, both in and out of the classroom. During your Orientation, you will interact with current Bulls, hear about USF resources, speak with an academic advisor, and learn ways to get involved on campus. ACE students should attend the July 7th- 8th New Student Orientation. ACE students are required to register themselves for Orientation and pay the registration fee. Students admitted into the ACE program should attend the Orientation session designated for ACE on July 7th-8th. Parents and families are encouraged to sign up for the Parents and Families* orientation session.
*Parents and Families orientation has an additional fee.
Summer ACE students have the option to live on-campus during the program in the alternative summer term. Summer ACE-specific rooms have been secured for you in Cypress Hall Suites for the entirety of this program, and students have the option to live on-campus in the Fall/Spring semesters within Poplar Hall. Students will need to complete USF Housing’s application process to live on campus during the summer ACE program from July 6th to August 6th.
As a campus resident and during your first-year experience, we will provide programming and events that will provide a sense of community as you integrate into USF culture! We recommend ACE students to either choose to live in our community or other Living and Learning Communities (LLCs) to stay engaged during their first-year.

Mentors
Over the summer, you'll meet our ACE Mentors. Most of the mentors, just like you, started at USF through the ACE program. They're available to help connect you to resources for any academic or transitional needs throughout the program, and they will check in with you periodically to help your transition into college life.
Summer Programming
In addition to ACE student programming facilitated on campus by the mentor staff, USF offers the First Fifty Days programs sponsored by New Student Connections. First Fifty Days highlights numerous shared experiences and events that allow students to stay active and engaged on campus! New Student Events!
