International Freshman Admission Dates and Deadlines

International applicants living outside the U.S. may apply up to one year prior to the desired term of entry. Additional time is usually required for submission of academic documents, evaluation and immigration-related matters.

  1. Summer/Fall 2025 Semester Start

    1. Application Opens

      August 1

      Summer/Fall application opens.

    2. Priority Application Deadline

      UPDATED: November 8

      Qualify for priority admission benefits by applying early.

      If you do not apply by the priority deadline, you are not guaranteed the campus that you applied for. You will be considered on a space-available basis.

    3. Priority Supporting Documents Deadline

      November 15

      Submit all required documents (including STARS, application fee and
      test scores) to qualify for priority admission benefits.

      We also invite students to apply for priority consideration to the Judy Genshaft Honors College at this time.

    4. Priority Decision Release Day

      December 10

      Students who applied and submitted all required documents
      by the priority deadlines will receive their admissions decision on December 10.

      Any priority Judy Genshaft Honors College acceptances will also be shared on December 10.

    5. Rolling Decisions Begin

      December 16

      Students who missed any of our priority deadlines will begin
      receiving decisions on a rolling basis starting on December 16.

      Please note: allow 4-6 weeks for USF to provide students with an admissions decision.

    6. Application Deadline for Scholarships

      January 15

      Submit general USF application and supporting documents by
      January 15 to be automatically considered for merit-based admissions scholarships. This can include your application fee, test scores and SSAR/transcript(s).

      We also invite students to apply to the Judy Genshaft Honors College at this time.

    7. Final Application Deadline

      March 1

      Final deadline to apply to USF for Summer/Fall 2025 admission.

    8. Final Supporting Documents Deadline

      March 15

      Submit all required documents (including STARS, application fee and test scores) to be considered for admission to USF.

      This is also the last chance to apply to the Judy Genshaft Honors College.

    9. Deposit Deadline

      May 1

      Final deadline to save a spot at USF by submitting the nonrefundable $200 admissions deposit or submitting a deposit fee waiver.

      Final deadline to save a spot at USF by submitting the nonrefundable $200 admissions deposit or submitting a deposit fee waiver.

Spring 2026 admissions decisions will be released on a rolling basis as they are processed.
