Rhitik Joshi
Rhitik graduated from USF in Fall 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. He graduated from the Judy Genshaft Honors College and was awarded the Dean’s Circle of Merit Award for Global Citizenship. During his time in the STEALTH Lab, he successfully submitted a research manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal, served as a Team Lead for the lab for multiple years, and helped co-author additional research manuscripts. Post-graduation, Rhitik is working as a scribe for various medical practices in the Tampa area. His future plans include attending medical school, as he aspires to become a practicing physician.

Angelina Venetto
Angelina Venetto is graduated from USF Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has been involved in the lab since its inception in May 2019. She served as a team lead, trained new research assistants, scored actigraphy data, participated in data collection, and provided guidance on all stages of the manuscript process. She currently has two manuscripts in preparation using STEALTH Lab data.
In the Fall 2022, she will start the University of South Florida (USF), School Psychology Ph.D. Program. Her research will focus on positive psychology, the dual-factor model of mental health, multi-tiered systems of support, early targeted intervention, prevention, and anxiety. Further, she was awarded the prestigious Scholars in Teaching, Applied Research, and Service Fellowship hosted by USF and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This fellowship will help her develop as an independent researcher and train her on how to lead evidence-based practices within a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.

Cassandra Richardson
Cassandra Richardson graduated in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Nutrition. She has been a part of the STEALTH Lab since its inception in May 2019 and served as a team lead since August 2019. She successfully presented her individual research at the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) conference in 2020 and 2021, and at the USF Psychology Expo in 2020, in which she received the Carol Schutz Registration Award and Undergraduate Poster Award. In August 2022, she will present at the American Psychological Association (APA) conference.
Cassandra is passionate about researching and developing effective alternative treatment models for mental health conditions and utilizing the therapeutic aspects of nature to help others. During her growth year, she will continue with her research in the STEALTH Lab and work as a field guide for a wilderness therapy organization. Her ultimate goal is to enter into a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program to become an Experiential Psychologist.

Breann LaRocque
Breann LaRocque graduated in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. As a member in the STEALTH lab, she has worked on two manuscript projects (as lead author and co-author), data codebooks, and has led efforts to create a SAS Guidebook for future RAs. Post-graduation, Breann is volunteering for local organizations, working at Advent Health, and completing her manuscript with the STEALTH lab. She plans on applying for medical schools’ programs.
Nabila Rehman graduated with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Psychology. She served as a lab member for a Cancer Research Lab, in addition to Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab. She is passionate about understanding and participating in research related to the medical field, health, and general well-being. She plans to pursue a higher degree in Medicine and become a physician who promotes preventative care and healthy living. She is currently attending medical school.

Rosangela Garcia recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Biological Health Sciences. She is interested in pursuing a career as a Physician’s Assistant or as Doctor with a Doctorate in Medicine.

Gabriel Bustamante-Salas recently graduated with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Gerontology. He intends to pursue a Doctorate in Medicine and join Doctors without Borders.
Britney Veal recently graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Behavioral Healthcare. In addition to Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab, she was a research assistant the Cogstate lab and the Electroencephalography (EEG) lab. She was accepted into the University of South Florida, School of Aging Studies Ph.D. Program. She intends to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology in order to become a Clinical Neuropsychologist. She led mindfulness practices during team meetings.

Taylor Harris recently graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Leadership Studies. She will be attending the University of Kansas for the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program.

Rachel Thurn recently graduated with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She is currently an intern at Moffitt Cancer Center and hopes to pursue research in the field of chemistry.

Alexandra Carey is a recent graduate from the Muma College of Business at USF, where she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Business Analytics/Information Systems. Following her graduation, she decided to go back to school to pursue her passion for studying human behaviors and using those insights to improve the lives of others. She is excited to see the impact that the STEALTH lab will have on the community.

Jeilah Pabón recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She plans to pursue a Psychology Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and practice Clinical Psychology as an Army Officer. Jeilah is interested in pursuing research directly applicable to the care of current service members and veterans, such as the work done in Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab.

Ana Sorto is a fourth-year pre-med student majoring in Psychology. She plans to pursue a Medical Degree. She currently volunteers with Arts4All Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center. She serves as Events Chair for USF’s Central American Student Alliance (CENSA) and Treasurer for USF’s Queer + Trans People of Color Collective (QTPOCC). She is excited to continue learning, gaining new experiences, and continuing her medical journey.

Lisa Patel is a recent graduate from USF with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. She plans to attend medical school this upcoming summer in hopes of becoming a physician who can provide care to those in underserved areas.

Chelsea Djedi is a recent graduate from USF with bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Children's Mental Health. She plans to pursue a Medical Degree and work in the field of pediatric health. She hopes to provide medicine to underserved populations in the future.

Taylor F. D. Vigoureux, Ph.D. Candidate, was the first lab manager of the STEALTH lab. Mrs. Vigoureux was responsible for data collection, management, and analyses that occurred in the STEALTH lab, mentoring and overseeing undergraduate research assistants, and working in a collaborative fashion with the Director and collaborators.

Karley Deason is a fourth-year student majoring in Aging Sciences. She is passionate about gerontology and plans to attend medical school specializing in geriatric medicine in rural areas.

Julia Woolley is a third-year student double majoring in Aging Sciences and Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is passionate about helping families, caregivers and patients impacted by Alzheimer's disease and hopes to gain as much research and clinical experience in both the aging and behavior analysis fields possible. She plans to pursue her doctoral degree and hopes to conduct research on intervention-based techniques to better help these populations impacted by Alzheimer's disease.
Leonel Camejo is a fourth-year student majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Aging Studies. He plans on pursuing medical school to become a family physician. He volunteers at the USF BRIDGE Clinic as an interpreter and is a peer buddy for the USF Best Buddies chapter. He also serves as Vice President of USF’s Gerontology Honor Society, Sigma Phi Omega (SPO). Leonel’s research interests include minority healthcare disparities, clinical research, and investigating the effects of stress and sleep on health outcomes.

Arooj Khan graduated with honors in Fall 2021 with a dual bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences and Public Health. Arooj joined the STEALTH Lab in May 2020. During her time, she contributed to data collection efforts, co-authored manuscripts, and worked on various press releases to disseminate the lab’s research findings. Since graduating, she has continued her role as the Public Health Executive Director of BRIDGE Clinic, co-authored another STEALTH Lab manuscript, volunteers at her local food bank, and is enjoying quality time with her loved ones!
Arooj was accepted to the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the University of Florida and the University of Pennsylvania. She plans to attend UF in the Fall of 2022! She is excited to bring the knowledge she acquired from the STEALTH Lab to the field of dentistry, as dentists can play a critical role in recognizing signs of poor sleep quality, sleep deprivation, and sleep-related breathing disorders. Arooj is passionate about the infinite ways dentistry can impact one’s quality of life and will play an integral role in creating smiles that provide comfort, promote confidence, and cultivate internal and external growth for all her future patients.
