Klejdis began her PhD in Criminology at USF in Fall 2022. She completed her MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida where she worked to provide trauma-focused psychotherapy to youth survivors of sex trafficking. Klejdis is currently involved in the USF Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Lab, and her current clinical and research interests include exploring the trauma bond created between victims and traffickers, better understanding behavioral and mental health outcomes of trafficking involvement, and examining victimization prevention through mapping trafficker crime scripts.
