The Auditory & Speech Sciences Laboratory is a USF research laboratory with the goal of solving communication problems using multidisciplinary methods. We combine expertise in the behavioral sciences, neuroscience, engineering, and assistive technology.

Lab members include USF faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and professionals dedicated to improving hearing and communication.

Drs. David and Ann Clock Eddins are directors of the ASSL.  The ASSL has locations in the innovative Research Park district at USF and in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders.

Funding:

Our projects are funded through a variety of sources including the National Institutes of Health (NIA and NIDCD), the Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, and Industry Collaborators.
