Sponsored by premier public agencies and private engineering firms, the program aims to further prepare students who have a broad interest in various environmental engineering fields, such as municipal water, wastewater, solid waste, air quality, water resources, hazardous waste, sustainable engineering and energy recovery.

National Science Foundation Strong Coasts

 A community-engaged training and research program on systems thinking to manage complex food, energy, and water systems in coastal locations. 

U.S. Department of Education Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN)

Students employ systems thinking to innovate solutions for problems related to designing, operating and managing resilient, sustainable, interdependent, and critical transportation, water, and environmental infrastructures.
