Biography

Dr. Yicheng Tu received a PhD from Purdue University in 2007 and an MS in 2003, both in Computer Science. His current research efforts address large-scale data management and parallel and distributed computing. He has also worked on data stream management systems, and application of control theory in tuning database system performance, and peer-to-peer networks.

Research Interests

His research interests are in the areas of databases, big data management, parallel and distributed systems.
