Overview
Welcome to the Undergraduate Studies Page of the Electrical Engineering Department!
The Department offers a dynamic program that allows our students to truly personalize
their curriculum according to their strengths and aspirations for future employment.
Students can select their coursework for a broad-based electrical engineering education
or for a focused program that will allow them to gain deeper knowledge in selected
subdisciplines.
Our program offers courses in all areas fundamental to Electrical Engineering and the Electrical Sciences such as:
-
Circuit analysis and design
-
Electronics
-
Communications
-
Robotics
-
Controls
-
Embedded systems
-
Solid state
-
Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)
-
Bioelectrical devices and systems
-
Power and energy
-
Systems and security
-
Wireless circuits and systems
-
Artificial intelligence (coming soon!)
Basic concepts are augmented with well-equipped laboratories in circuits, electronics,
digital systems, microwave techniques, wireless circuits and systems, controls and
communications, power systems, and a microprocessor and digital signal processing
laboratory.
All Electrical Engineering students are also required to take our Professional Formation
of Engineers course sequence which addresses the top skills and competencies highly
desired by today’s employers.
Undergraduate students can also pursue research opportunities by joining research
groups lead by our world class faculty. Click here for more information.
We look forward to your continued success!
