Overview

Undergraduate Students

The Office of Engineering Student Services (ESS) provides undergraduate academic advising to prospective, new, and continuing students who are pursing a major within the College of Engineering.  ESS advises lower division College of Engineering students. 

Undergraduate students that have completed the major specific Progression requirements for the Upper Division (ULDP student attribute appears on the degree audit) are advised by their respective department.  Upper division students, please see the department contact list for assistance.

Graduate Students

Graduate level students are admitted directly into their engineering programs and are assisted by their academic department. If you are Masters or Doctoral student please visit your department.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm

You may contact your academic advisor to arrange for an advising appointment outside these hours (generally before 8 am and early evening).  We recommend scheduling an appointment, but for students who have immediate concerns or quick questions, same day advising is available.  See the "Speak with an Advisor" section on this website.
