Chris Oueis, a fourth-year USF student, has been awarded three prestigious scholarships with support from the Office of National Scholars. An international student from Lebanon, Oueis is leveraging these opportunities to pursue his dream career in public policy and international affairs.

Growing up, Honors student Dana Smith had a close relationship with her great grandmother. But Smith knew her mostly as a family member who suffered from dementia. That experience inspired Smith to get involved with the Preventing Alzheimer's with Cognitive Training study.

Honors freshman Avani Sanghvi has been selected for the prestigious Fulbright UK Summer Institute program. The third USF student in six years to be admitted to the program, Sanghvi will spend three weeks studying at the University of Bristol.

Judge Julianna Michelle Childs, U.S. Circuit Judge for the Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia and USF alumna, recently visited the Judy Genshaft Honors College where she spoke to Honors students about her experiences in law during a visit to the new Judy Genshaft Honors college. Judge Childs also received the USF 2023 Alumni Award for her accomplishments as a judge and attorney as well as, her dedication to building a better world through advocacy for equality and commitment to justice
