Service Day Event: Creative Project to benefit kids in foster care
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | MDA 1122
We will be creating personalized gift bags and personalized cards for youth in the foster care system. The youth can then utilize these gift bags to transport or store their prized possessions; whatever they wish!Any interested USF Health students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate!
Service Project Goals:
• Benefit youth in the foster care system
• Assist USF Health students, staff, and faculty who participate in this service project
feel like they are making a positive difference
• Encourage USF Health students to contribute to the long term service opportunity
with the Guardian Ad Litum (GAL) Program
Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to donate coloring books, colored pencils, and other items for kids to be stuffed in the bags.
Fall Dessert Party at Hope Lodge: Service Event
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Hope Lodge
Come join other USF Health students for a fun evening with the residents at the American Cancer Society's Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge who are being treated for cancer at Moffitt and other area hospitals. Please sign up below and specify what type of healthy dessert you can bring – thanks! Dessert items should be purchased from a store and should be new, unopened, and fresh/'in-date'. Please note Hope Lodge can accommodate up to 10 volunteers for the dessert party.
Wednesday, October 12
WELL Walk
11:30am-1:30pm | USF Health Rotunda & Around USF Health
Begin in the USF Health Rotunda for the kick-off to the WELL Walk. Complete 2 laps walking around USF Health to get a USF Health branded swag item. Complete at least 1 lap for entry into a drawing for a bicycle or Crunch Fitness Channelside membership! The college with the most participation will win a trophy & title of "Most Fit College."
*A special walking route will also be available at the MDD building. Downtown learners can also compete for an entry for a FREE bicycle and other prizes.
Yoga Flow Class
5:30 p.m. | WELL Courtyard
Have your yoga mat and comfortable clothing ready. All levels are welcome for a yoga flow class with Mary Waugh from Bella Prana. Yoga mats will be available for those who do not have their own! All levels welcome!

Participate in a pub-style trivia night for fun USF Health swag packs. Featuring popular TV shows like the Office, Friends, Stranger Things, Euphoria, and more! The winners will receive mystery prize boxes and a USF Health Homecoming t-shirt.

Enjoy live music from a local band, free food, rock painting, a rock wall, and more! All USF Health students, faculty, staff and residents are invited!
