A Campus Activities Board (CAB) tradition, Battle of the Bands is the annual band competition held each spring. This year Battle of the Bands will be on March 24, 2022. To compete, bands submit an application by February 13, 2022. Four or five bands are then invited to compete and a panel of judges decide who wins judge's choice and the event attendees decide the winner of people's choice. The winners get to play as opening acts at Bullstock, the big on-campus music festival held in late spring.

Bullstock Music Festival
Bullstock is the annual spring music festival put on by CAB. It began in 1997 as a
concert for local performers and has grown into a music festival with top shelf bands/performers
like All American Rejects, Andy Grammer, Young the Giant, and X Ambassadors. The event
is usually held in April and, in 2012, Bullstock became the Friday event to close
out USF Week www.usf.edu/usfweek. Don't be surprised to see inflatables, zip lines, and rock climbing walls--plus
great food from local restaurants and food trucks, this concert event is not one to
miss! This event is free and open to the public.
