Feed-A-Bull Food Pantry
The Feed-A-Bull Food Pantry helps to ensure that students do not have to choose between buying textbooks or buying groceries -- because no student should ever go hungry!
ABOUT THE PANTRY
Feed-A-Bull, an initiative spearheaded by Student Health Services and Feeding America Tampa Bay, strives to alleviate food hardship and hunger among all enrolled USF students by providing supplemental food, nutrition education and resources to any student in need -- whatever their situation -- in order to ensure their academic success at USF.
The confidential pantry was created as a response to the knowledge that approximately
30 percent of students face food insecurity while attending the university for a variety
of reasons, and supplemental food assistance may allow these students to focus on
their studies.

Food pantries are also operated on the St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee campuses. Students may utilize the campus pantry most convenient for them.
ORDERING, LOCATION & HOURS
Students can either drop in for food during open hours or pre-order customized groceries online confidentially. Be sure to let the pantry know about any food allergies or restrictions due to religious beliefs.

Order customized groceries and schedule a pick-up date. Please allow the pantry staff
one (1) full business day's notice to prepare the order before picking up your food.
Drop In
When students drop in at the pantry, they have the option to "shop" the aisles to
personalize their selections, or pantry staff can select groceries for you.
Location
The pantry is located in the Student Services (SVC) building basement in SVC 0002. Enter the building through the double doors next to the Admissions Office (on the
breezeway) and take the hallway to elevator lobby; take the elevator or the stairs
to basement.
Hours of Operation
The pantry's hours of operation are listed below, with exception of university holidays
when it is also closed.
- Monday: 2 - 5 pm
- Tuesday: 9 am – 12 pm
- Wednesday: 1 – 4 pm
- Thursday: 3 - 6 pm
- Friday: closed

- Veteran's Day (Friday, November 11)
- Thankgiving (Thursday-Friday, November 24-25)

Your support of food or monetary donations is truly invaluable. Together, we can
address food insecurity so that no USF student goes hungry!
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations of any size are most appreciated as the funds support the operations
and provide for items not well-stocked in the pantry. Your gift can be made through
the USF Foundation by clicking the button below. For questions or further information,

Gift Card Donations
Feed-A-Bull can now accept gift card donations, such as a pre-paid Visa or grocery
store gift card (Walmart, Publix, Target, etc.). This will allow us to quickly stock
the pantry when running low on an essential food item(s), and also purchase items
that aren't often donated but requested by students. Processes are in place to ensure
donated gift cards are monitored and used for intended purposes. To learn how to donate a gift card, please email the pantry at feedabull@usf.edu.
Food Donations
The Feed-A-Bull Food Pantry welcomes your donations but please be advised that we
are not permitted to use opened food or cans with deep dents. Non-perishable food
donations can be taken to SVC 0002; see above for directions and hours. There is a
donation box outside the pantry for use when the pantry is closed. Other campus donation
locations include The WELL lobby and the Shimberg Library.
