Get Yourself Tested (GYT)

When possible, the event will be offered by scheduled appointment. Check back!

STI Testing can be offered by billing insurance or self-paying the student rates. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 813.445.4976 or 813.974.2331.  Participants should not eat or drink for the hour prior to the appointment. Registered students only please!

Getting yourself tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is a basic part of staying healthy. Student Health Services sponsors FREE Get Yourself Tested events in the Fall and Spring semesters, by appointment, for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV for registered students. Outside of these events, we offer testing at student rates.

If you need testing before or after our annual events, Student Health Services provides screening for all major STDs and offers HPV vaccinations for nominal fees.

Local community partners offer STI testing on campus or just off campus. Please contact the partners below for additional information and scheduling.
