Got Your Six Veterans Success Network

At the University of South Florida, we've "Got Your Six"! This is the military's way of saying, "We've got your back."
Our most important mission is your success. We are fortunate to be the university of choice for over 7,000 veterans and military-connected students like you. You bring important diversity and life experiences to our campus.
To help you be successful, USF has developed the Got Your Six Veterans Success Network program to help faculty and staff better understand your military experience and how they can better support you as a student. Look for the Got Your Six sticker seen below on office doors or windows identifying a willing resource for you.
Got Your Six is more than just a program; it originated as a national awareness program that's gaining recognition, especially through Celebrity Endorsement.

Faculty & Staff Training
USF faculty and staff interested in taking the Got Your Six training can explore training dates and times and sign up for a workshop in GEMS Self-Service [Dates for Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 are TBD]. Here's how:
- Login to MyUSF.
- Click on Business Systems in the top navigation, then select GEMS Self-Service.
- Click on Main Menu > Self Service > Learning and Development > Request Training Enrollment.
- Choose Search by Course Name and key in 'Got Your 6'.
- Click on the Session number to register for the course of your choosing.
