Strategic Planning
Strategic Planning Overview
Undergraduate Studies has been working through the important process of Strategic Planning. Our approach has been student-centered and data-informed. We have collaborated with students, faculty, staff and university partners to renew our mission, vision and goals. Diversity, equity and inclusivity are integral to strengthening and creating our new path forward.
The Strategic Planning Committee, chaired by Dr. Kyna Betancourt, Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies, consisted of representatives from across OneUSF and the university community. The Committee led and facilitated the strategic planning process through multiple phases. Throughout the process, there were opportunities to engage in discussion and share ideas. Strategic Planning Committee meeting minutes and update reports have been posted to the "Internal Documents" link on the left of this page.
UGS also provided background knowledge needed to contribute effectively to strategic planning. These brown bags were recorded and can be found, along with additional resources helpful in the strategic planning process, via the "Resources" link on the left.
After a year of work, the committee has passed along all of their research and recommendations to the UGS Leadership Team. With the new publication of the USF Strategic Plan we are now ready to synthesize the year's work into mission, vision, values, and goals. We are excited to begin implementing the recommendations that came from the strategic planning committee and all of our students, faculty, staff and campus partners who engaged in this process over the last year.
We look forward to continuing our engagement with you in this process!
