New Bulls Scholars
The New Bulls Scholars (NBS) is a program for selected undergraduate students admitted for the summer semester at the University of South Florida. The program provides first-generation college students with a supportive transition to USF. The program is designed to support student development as learners and leaders. Personalized academic success coaching will guide students in developing a mindset for personal, academic, and career growth. Opportunities will be provided for community and alumni engagement.

Program Requirements
- Admission for the summer semester
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be a Florida resident
- Must be Pell Grant eligible as determined on the 2021-22 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- Must reside on campus during the duration of the program
- Enroll in 6 credits during Summer B
- Attend weekly summer program meetings
- Attend 3 individual academic success coaching sessions during fall and spring semesters
Program Agreement
Admission to the New Bulls Scholars program is selective and space is limited. Students accepted to the program will be provided a program participation and agreement form.
