PAMA CONFERENCE
The fourth USF Performing Arts Medicine Conference will take place in-person (with remote option) on March 25-27, 2022 at USF Barness Recital Hall in the USF School of Music Building. With a theme, Inspiring Health in the Arts, it will be an important gathering of interdisciplinary professionals with experiences and interest in the field of Performing Arts Medicine.

Fourth USF Performing Arts Medicine Conference

Theme: Inspiring Health in the Arts
- Friday, March 25, Reception: Meet fellow participants, presenters, and keynote speakers.
- Saturday, March 26, Concert: Festive concert program includes classical piano and guitar music, ballet and folk-dance numbers performed by legendary artists.
- Sunday, March 27, Panel Luncheon: Meet distinguished panelists to discuss audience questions and comments collected during the conference.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Fourth USF-PAMA Conference is focused on sharing knowledge (research) and practice (workshops and teaching) of performing arts medicine to Inspire Health in the Arts.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS
The Conference is designed for health professionals, performing artists and educators, performing artists and educators, health science educators, medical humanities specialists, and generalists who are interested in the intersection of the arts and health.
OBJECTIVES:
Participants will learn:
· Injury preventive training and rehabilitative strategies in the performing arts medicine
· Research, practice and education that intersect the arts and medicine
· Issues and dialogues in medical humanities
· Inspiring curriculum trajectories and possibilities in the 21st century

ACCREDITATION
The conference program content will be submitted for Florida Physical Therapy CEU for up to 18 hours of credit.

USF-PAMA-TMG Piano Pedagogy Symposium
The Third USF-PAMA-The Music Gallery Piano Pedagogy Symposium was focused on the awareness of the body, touch and tone, coordinated techniques, mind-body connection, and longevity in learning, teaching, and playing the piano. The Symposium presented masterclasses, chamber music coaching, jazz piano, flow in music making, and musician-tailored yoga.
