Group counseling sessions offer an opportunity for you to meet others (virtually or in-person) who have similar experiences and who also want to pursue personal growth. Group counseling is a very effective way to learn about yourself and how others see you. In the supportive atmosphere of the group, you also may experiment with new, more rewarding ways of relating to people.
We have different types of groups depending on what you hope to get out of the experience. Therapy groups are offered on a space-available basis to registered students. A pre-group appointment with the facilitator(s) is needed before attending a therapy group. Most groups have 5-8 members and meet once a week. See page 1 of our Group Flyer here.

DROP-IN ONLINE WORKSHOPS AND SERVICES
Other than group counseling, we are facilitating two types of psycho-educational, drop-in spaces focused on coping skills and mutual support: Workshops and Chat & Connect. These 60-minute drop-in sessions are offered daily, Monday - Friday. No prior contact with the Counseling Center is required to attend these drop-in sessions - just go online at the appointed time! You can attend once, or come back as many times as you’d like. We hope you join us!
- Workshops are flexible and accessible ways to learn coping skills and share experiences with peers.
- Chat & Connect welcome discussions about specific topics, experiences, and identities. These spaces are designed to offer support and resources that are specific to your lived experiences, without the need for semester-long commitment.
